We warmly invite you to experience this two hour Restorative Yoga Workshop with Barbara. Restorative Yoga is a style of practice which offers refuge from, and counteracts, the busyness and stress of our modern lives. It invites you to pause: to move from the state of constantly doing and gradually unwind as you shift into longer restorative poses. Through the use of yoga props such as bolsters, blocks, chairs and blankets, you will be guided into restorative poses which support and reset your nervous system, encouraging deep rest and the restoration of your energy levels. It is an inclusive and gentle practice which is open to all levels of yoga experience, ages and abilities.
During this workshop you will learn the benefits of Restorative Yoga and the techniques and correct set up of the yoga props to deepen your experience of each pose. Moments of guided meditation and pranayama (breathing) practices will be interwoven throughout the workshop to support and enhance your state of inner calm and rest.
