JEAN HASTIE
My teaching style is:
Overshare, Mindful, Challenging
My Yoga Aha! moment was:
I had this need to fill space. Within my own head, the chatter. With other people, our conversations. Holding space for others and yourself is so powerful.
Favourite quote:
The effect you have on others is the greatest currency there is.
- Jim Carrey
ZACH STUMER
My teaching style is:
Integrated, Functional Movement, Challenging
My Yoga Aha! moment was:
I believed that hard work was the answer to success. Yoga has taught me that this is not necessarily the case, sometimes being open to hear the subtle messages of the mind and body can reveal a path of true happiness.
Favourite quote:
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't - you're right
- Henry Ford
MEGAN RICHARDSON
My teaching style is:
Nurturing, Dynamic, Flowing
My Yoga Aha! moment was:
There have been plenty of these, especially recently, but a stand out was during a hatha flow class with the incredible Elena Brower in New York, I was super excited about being there in room with such an amazing teacher however I was nursing a head cold and I was slightly disappointed that my "physical" wellbeing wasn't at its best so I thought I wasn't going to get much out of the class (silly me).... As always I got exactly what I needed. I took rest when my body couldn't keep up and I received healing through her soothing and inspired words, modified sequencing and touch.
Favourite quote:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference.
SALLY MEREDITH
My teaching style is:
Sincere, Deep, Playful!
My Yoga Aha! moment was:
Every time I realise I am beating myself up for not being 'perfect'. It's kind of like punching someone when they are already down... Compassion, patience, acceptance and maybe even a little chuckle towards myself seem to work out much better.
Favourite quote:
When you realise how perfect everything is you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky!
- Buddha
ANGELA ROBB
My teaching style is:
Heartfelt, Nurturing, Explorative
My Yoga Aha! moment was:
Leaving my first yoga class at the age of 14 feeling like I was walking on a layer of air 10 feet from the ground and with a new perspective that made my worries feel small amongst enormous wonders of life was the 'ahhhhh.......' in the continually unfolding 'aha' moment that is my yoga journey.
Favourite quote
Real lovers serve ardently, hopefully, in an ecstasy of awe.
- Rumi
KIRRILY KIRSTIN
My teaching style is:
Flowing, Sequential, Diverse
My Yoga Aha! moment was:
It never fails to delight and astound me that no matter my level of energy, how emotional I may feel or what my state of mind may be prior to practice, Yoga always succeeds in creating an improved sense of wellbeing and equanimity from within. To receive its benefit all that is required is to keep coming back to the yoga practice; so powerful, so simple.
Favourite quote:
There is the practice of yoga of the body, mind and ātma - always fruitful, and it gives to each through practice what he seeks.
- Śolka 11, T. Krishnamacharya
CATHERINE MARTIN
My teaching style is:
Mindful, Nurturing, Balanced
My Yoga Aha! moment was:
I believed being independent and separate was a sign of inner strength. My edges are softened with the insight that connection, compassion, and community are far more valuable.
Favourite quote:
Close your eyes and see. Open your heart and hear. Learn less and understand more. Be the person not the body. Love without logic. Give without expectation. Lose yourself to find yourself.
- C.A.H
PRIM BAINI
My teaching style is:
Energetic, Rhythmic, Creative
My Yoga Aha! moment was:
The only certainty in life is change, never stop trying and learn and grow.
Favourite quote:
The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind and the harmony of the soul, creates the symphony of life.
- BKS Iyengar
TARYN IPENBURG
My teaching style is:
Attentive, Nourishing, Honest.
My Yoga Aha! moment was:
Yoga has taught me how to appreciate each moment, slowing down and finding time to enjoy simple moments in each day.
In doing so I have become more attentive at listening to the body's wisdom and subtle language, knowing when to give "my all" and when to be quiet and still.
These days there is nothing more enjoyable for me, than the indulgence of taking time to be kind to myself.
Favourite quote:
The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.
JILL DEVINE
My teaching style is:
Playful, experiential, holistically inspired by folklore and philosophy

Every surrender is an aha, both inside and outside of the asana
Favourite quote:
"It's impossible, that's for sure. So let's start working."
Philippe Petit
Georgia Leunig
My teaching style is:
Smooth and spicy breath guided movement
My Yoga Aha! moment was:
Being too shy and unfit to go to a yoga class, I trained at home with apps and youtube. After 6 months of solid practice, I thought ‘Maybe I can do this.’ So I went to my first class. The rest is history.
Favourite quote:
‘You are never too small to make a difference’
-Greta Thunberg
‘Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else.’

My Yoga Aha! moment was:
Do these moments ever stop coming once you delve into the wonderful world of yoga?
When I stopped caring what my poses looked like on the outside and started focusing on what they felt like on the inside.
Favourite quote:
Right now I’m feeling Rumi’s words “You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop”
SIMON McDONALD
My teaching style is:
Inclusive, Challenging, Supportive
My Yoga Aha! moment was:
Learning that no two bodies are structurally the same, taught me to allow every yogi to move and flow safely in their own unique way.
Our personal practice is more likely to be introspective if we are able to play with our edge, without distraction
Favourite quote:
We are all visitors to this time, this place.
We are just passing through.
Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love … and then we return home
